Mikael Selassi

This deck wasn’t built to sell, it was rather built to set the tone. Mikael Selassi is a DC-based photographer and videographer whose work spans celebs, grads, brands, and people. The goal was to create a a sleek, funny presentation he could send to potential clients that captured the energy of his shoots and personality.

Targeted towards people who are booking with taste. That means creative directors, music artists, brands, grads, and even first-timers who just want to look like they belong on the moodboard. They don’t want to be convinced,  just want to feel that they’re in the right hands. This deck was made to speak to that instinct.

The visual design presents a tight color system: deep reds, off-whites, and clean blacks.  Minimal layouts with strong serif and bold typography, giving just enough space for the work to breathe. Sharp, editorial energy with a lowkey edge.
